This Product Policy explains how each Daili product works, how funds are held and processed behind the scenes, and what you can expect as a user. It should be read alongside our Terms & Conditions.
Daili Technologies Limited is a tech-enabled operator, not a financial institution. We design and build user-friendly software products across financial management, business management, real estate, logistics, and other everyday needs. Where a product involves money — such as savings or bill payments — the actual movement and holding of funds is carried out by our licensed partners, not by Daili itself.
Daili runs a non-custodial operation. Every Naira saved, transferred, or spent through a Daili product is held in an account maintained by one of our licensed bank or payment partners, under that partner's own regulatory license — never directly by Daili. This means:
Our current and expected partners include:
We continue to grow our partner network as we expand, always with the goal of meeting the regulatory standard required for each type of financial activity our products touch.
Identity verification (KYC): To activate Daili Savings and other identity-verified features, our licensed partners require us to collect your National Identification Number (NIN) and Bank Verification Number (BVN). This is a standard Know-Your-Customer (KYC) requirement set by the Central Bank of Nigeria for opening a savings wallet or account through a licensed partner — it is not a Daili-specific requirement. We pass this information securely to the relevant partner for verification and account activation, and it is used solely for that purpose.
Lets you set savings goals and save daily, weekly, or monthly. Funds saved through Daili Savings are held by our licensed partner(s) — Daili provides the goal-tracking, budgeting, and behavioural tools on top of that held balance.
A business health tracker for market traders and small businesses — sales register, expense tracking, stock management, and customer credit control. Regista is a management and record-keeping tool; where it connects to payment collection, that processing is handled by our licensed partners.
Airtime and data purchases across Nigerian networks, processed instantly through our licensed payment partners.
Some transactions carry a fee, which is shown to you before you confirm the transaction. Our partners may also apply their own processing charges as part of handling a payment, transfer, or purchase; where this applies, it will be reflected in the total amount shown to you at the point of transaction.
We work to keep Daili's products available and reliable, but some features depend on the uptime and performance of our partners' systems. Where a partner experiences downtime or delays, the affected Daili feature may be temporarily unavailable. We'll aim to communicate known service disruptions where possible.
If you notice an issue with a transaction, savings balance, or any product feature, please contact our support team as soon as possible. We will investigate and, where the issue relates to a partner's system, liaise with the relevant partner on your behalf to help resolve it.
As Daili grows, we may add new products, retire old features, or change which partner powers a given service. We'll update this Product Policy to reflect material changes, along with a new "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
